The building, a cultural heritage site and architectural monument of local significance, was formerly the Oleksandrivsk Girls’ Gymnasium, built in 1902. A significant portion of the historic structure burned down in the attack. Buildings No. 4 and No. 5 also sustained damage, with windows shattered. The Russian strike additionally destroyed a shopping centre and damaged multi-storey residential blocks. Six people were injured.
