Caption: Lana Del Rey responds to negative review of Irish concert. The Video Games hitmaker has received mixed reviews over her stadium tour in the U.K. and Ireland with fans expressing their disappointment with the short set list given the cost of the tickets. Following her show at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin last week, a journalist for The Irish Times questioned whether the "bizarre" show was "value for money” and if Del Rey was better suited to a smaller venue. ”Of the 14 songs Del Rey performs, five are from her unreleased new country album and another two are covers," reads the publication's review on Instagram. ”Which would be fine if Del Rey were playing an intimate venue. But given the effort involved in getting to the Aviva and the ticket prices - you won't get in the door for less than €100 - the gig, at a trim 80 minutes or so, raises the question of where artistic expression ends and doing right by your fans begins…” The Summertime Sadness singer responded in the comments, writing, "Ooh I think this is the wrong take on the angle for the story”. The 40-year-old did not expand upon her remark. Del Rey kicked off her U.K. and Ireland tour in Cardiff, Wales on 23 June and wrapped it up with two nights at Wembley Stadium over the weekend. The star is gearing up to release her 10th studio album, which has been renamed from Lasso to The Right Person Will Stay. The release date is yet to be confirmed.
