Caption: Decade-Long Mystery: Search for Missing Flight MH370 Set to Resume. A decade after its disappearance, the search for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 will resume, led by marine robotics firm Ocean Infinity, Sky News reports. The aircraft vanished on 8 March 2014 during a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew. Ocean Infinity, involved in previous searches, plans to explore a new area in the southern Indian Ocean, as agreed in principle with Malaysia’s transport ministry. Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced the company would receive $70m (£56m) if it finds significant wreckage, expressing hope that this effort will provide closure to the victims' families. MH370’s disappearance remains one of aviation’s greatest mysteries, sparking theories ranging from technical failure to intentional sabotage or murder-suicide. Initial searches by Malaysia, Australia, and China covered 120,000 square kilometers of the southern Indian Ocean but failed to locate the plane. Debris from the Boeing 777 has since been found on African shores and Indian Ocean islands, but the main wreckage remains elusive. Some families of the 153 Chinese passengers on board continue to demand answers, calling for compensation and an end to the ambiguity. Malaysian investigators have been unable to definitively determine the cause of the crash, though early reports suggested the possibility of deliberate diversion. Minister Loke emphasized the government’s responsibility to the families, saying, “We hope this time will be positive, that the wreckage will be found, and give closure to the families.” Instructions: THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
