Headline: UNCAPTIONED: Police Block Orange Order From Controversial Parade Route

Caption: Police Block Orange Order From Controversial Parade Route. Police have prevented members of the Orange Order from marching along the mainly nationalist Garvaghy Road in Portadown following a weekend stand-off. A group attempted to march from Drumcree Church early on Monday but was stopped by a line of police vehicles. The Orange Order had been unable to complete its permitted parade on Sunday after protesters gathered on Garvaghy Road. First Minister Michelle O'Neill joined the protest, prompting Democratic Unionist Party leader Gavin Robinson to accuse her of acting unlawfully. Northern Ireland Secretary Sir Chris Bryant has called for compromise, while representatives of local residents are due to meet him and the chief constable. Orange Order district master Nigel Dawson expressed frustration, arguing that members had a legal right to parade along the road and that police should facilitate the route.
