Caption: Queen Camilla Honoured by Historic Stationers’ Company. Queen Camilla was made an honorary freeman and liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers. The ceremony took place at Stationers’ Hall, a historic London venue, where The Queen donned the company’s traditional livery gown. Master Doug Wills presented the livery gown, and special guests included Lord Sedwill and First Sea Lord Gwyn Jenkins. Founded in 1403, the Stationers’ Company represents publishing, print, media, and broadcasting professionals. Queen Camilla’s advocacy includes founding The Queen’s Reading Room and championing the Coronation Libraries project. During the visit, she viewed copyright records dating to 1557, including Shakespeare’s First Folio entry from 1623. Queen Camilla met young journalists and students, including winners of the Shine School Media Awards and Stationers’ apprentices. A special gift, a beautifully bound copy of A Shakespearean Botanical, was presented by a former royal bookbinding apprentice. The event highlighted the Stationers’ Company’s role in supporting literacy, education, and preserving traditional crafts. Queen Camilla’s visit concluded with a lively garden reception and heartfelt cheers from members and staff. Instructions: THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
