BYD’s market share in the UK jumped to 3.6%, with the company planning to launch more hybrid and electric models soon. UK manager Bono Ge said the future is “hugely exciting” for the brand, which recently opened its 100th retail outlet. The UK remains an attractive market for companies like BYD, as it has not imposed tariffs on Chinese EVs, unlike the EU and US.
