Headline: UNCAPTIONED: Jaguar Land Rover To Resume Some Production After Cyber-Attack

Caption: Jaguar Land Rover To Resume Some Production After Cyber-Attack. Jaguar Land Rover is expected to restart some production this week following a cyber-attack that forced the carmaker to shut down factories and send workers home. Manufacturing will resume first at JLR’s engine factory in Wolverhampton with other UK sites in the West Midlands and Merseyside expected to return gradually over the coming weeks. The shutdown, which began at the end of August, paralysed nearly every aspect of JLR’s operations, including car production and parts distribution. The resumption is a relief for suppliers, especially smaller firms that have faced severe financial pressure. Last week, the UK government announced a £1.5 billion loan guarantee to support parts and service suppliers. Some had to lay off staff due to cash shortages. JLR continues to investigate the attack, which also affected its factories in Slovakia, China, and India. Instructions: THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
