Caption: Monster Hunter Wilds Announces Second Open Beta Test. Eurogamer report Monster Hunter Wilds has kicked off the year with the announcement of a second open beta. Players can explore content from the first beta, including Character Creation, Story Trial and the Slay Doshaguma Quest while also hunting Gypceros, a returning monster. Characters from the first beta can be transferred to the second and even to the full game, though progress won’t carry over. The beta runs from February 6th to February 9th, starting at 7pm Pacific (3am UK time). A second beta weekend follows from February 13th to 16th with the same schedule. Available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, participants will unlock bonuses like a decorative weapon charm in the full game. Capcom notes, however, that updates to performance, weapons, and quality of life will not be reflected in this beta build.
