You know that I love you,” Elsewhere, Nicole gushed over Sunset Boulevard creator Andrew Lloyd Webber, director Jamie Lloyd, and co-star Tom Francis. ”You saw me when no one else did. You've given us all new ways to dream, and you've changed my life forever. Growing up, I always felt like I didn't belong, but you all have made me feel like I belong and I have come home at last!”. Earlier in the New York ceremony, Nicole received a standing ovation for her rendition of As If We Never Said Goodbye. She was introduced by Glenn Close, who played the role of Norma in the 1994 and 2017 Broadway productions. The show also won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical on the night.
