Caption: Katy Perry leads prayer for fan after she collapses onstage during concert. During her Lifetimes Tour, the Dark Horse singer brings a few fans on stage every night to help her perform her 2011 ballad The One That Got Away. According to Billboard, Perry selected a young girl named McKenna during her concert in Detroit, Michigan on Sunday night and waited for her and her friend to make their way to the stage from their seats high up in the area. McKenna, who appeared overcome with emotion, hugged the singer when they arrived on stage. However, as Perry was preparing to start the song, the fan fainted. The Firework hitmaker knelt alongside her as her crew and the venue's medical team treated McKenna, who was subsequently taken off the stage. Perry then pulled the three remaining fans into a group hug and led a prayer, saying "Dear God, we pray for McKenna, that she will come back fully and brighter and better than ever. Amen.”. She also told the crowd, "It's so much. Sometimes you're so brave and you can get on stage, and it's overwhelming. I understand that feeling.”. The 40-year-old then performed the track with her fans before they left the stage. Later in the show, Perry gave a shout-out to McKenna and told the audience, "McKenna's doing great, by the way.”. The pop star kicked off the Lifetimes Tour in April, and it is slated to run until 7 December. Instructions: THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
