Headline: UNCAPTIONED: Kendrick Lamar and SZA sizzle at Super Bowl

Caption: Kendrick Lamar has wowed the crowd as he headlined the halftime show at Super Bowl LIX. The rap megastar, who has won 17 Grammys, was joined on stage by fellow Grammy-winner SZA. With the Philadelphia Eagles leading a discombobulated Kansas City Chiefs 24-0 at the end of the first half, Lamar took to the stage with a team of red, white and blue backing dancers peeling out of a black Grand National car. The performance kicked off with an intro from Samuel L. Jackson, then Lamar dived straight into a string of hits, including GNX, Squabble Up and Humble. SZA, dressed in head-to-toe red, joined him on stage for the song Luther, on which she features. Earlier, the Super Bowl pre-game show saw singer-songwriter Jon Batiste put a modern twist on the national anthem, while Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle performed America the Beautiful. Ledisi performed a stirring rendition of Lift Every Voice and Sing - a song often called the Black national anthem - which has been a fixture on the Super Bowl running sheet for the past five years. Lady Gaga performed Hold My Hand on Bourbon Street ahead of the game in honour of the victims of the New Orleans terror attack in January. As the Chiefs and Eagles faced off, Taylor Swift was among hundreds of celebrities in the crowd, rooting for her player boyfriend Travis Kelce and his team the Chiefs. Swift was shown walking inside the Caesars Superdome with Ice Spice and other pals. Instructions: THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
