Headline: Fluffy snow leopard cub twins make first outdoor appearance with first-time mum

Caption: A pair of adorable snow leopard cub twins have made their first trip outdoors after spending their first weeks tucked away in their den. The fluffy youngsters, born to first-time mum Pari at The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland's Highland Wildlife Park, have begun exploring the world beyond their shelter as they grow in confidence. Now several weeks old, the inquisitive cubs can be seen cautiously padding around their habitat, playing together while remaining close to their protective mother. Visitors to the wildlife park may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the endangered pair during their early adventures, offering a rare chance to see snow leopards at one of their cutest stages of development. The twins will remain unnamed until they undergo their first health check in the coming months, when keepers at the conservation charity will also carry out routine assessments. Snow leopard cubs are born blind and with striking pale blue eyes because they produce little melanin at birth. As they reach around two to three months old, pigmentation gradually develops, causing their eye colour to change to shades of pale green, grey or yellow. The latest arrivals are an important addition to the conservation breeding programme for the vulnerable species, with keepers closely monitoring the cubs as they continue to grow under Pari's attentive care.
